In his latest blistering attack against Republican rival Jeb Bush, Donald Trump has asserted that George W. Bush was actually president when 9/11 happened. And now Jeb is fighting back.
“I mean, so next week, Mr. Trump is probably going to say that FDR was around when Japan attacked Pearl Harbor,” Jeb insists. “It’s what you do after that matters — and that’s the sign of leadership.”
We couldn’t agree more, Jeb — W.’s awful handling of terrorism after 9/11 really is something we ought to talk about, too.
